Someone to...

The 'all I need is a friend' stuff under the image above is a song lyric, not a desperate plea. 🙂

And what's here applies to either single projects or appropriate combinations thereof.

Although no longer bothered about building a team, I'm still keen to find one good working partner… someone less creative and more disciplined than me, an appropriate individual to helm this business, a 'savvy head-honcho to set direction and watch over things', and thus release me.

Since the outset I've wanted someone to be a good #2 and do what I've often done for others (ride shotgun).

But I've subsequently revised that requirement, and now prefer to have someone who'll have overall 'boss' responsibility and do it better than I ever could.

Although that person could be an entrepreneur, they're more likely to be either an existing provider of consulting and/or support services, or perhaps a manager/executive considering an entrepreneurial venture.

And I'll welcome a lady, because that should help ensure a kinder, gentler (though still of course effective) business.

Initially we'll work together, with me progressively stepping aside, whereupon they may then need an aide.

That entrepreneurs need support is more important than many people realize.

The entrepreneur is often great at starting something, but not so good at running it.

We're loners, vagabonds, troublemakers.

Success is simply a matter of finding and surrounding ourselves with those open-minded and clever souls who can take our insanity and put it to good use.
