This one's purely for my personal amusement—I need a little levity while writing the review and sit-rep mentioned in the previous note.
So, here we go…
It's of course highly inappropriate, something for which I make absolutely no excuses.
With a cancer that ought to eventually kill me, there's of course times when I consider an 'active demise'… 'active' in the sense that rather than wait around for hospice care etcetera, I'll leave early with a method of my choosing.
Clearly, my favorite option would be 'non-active'—to simply depart in my sleep, perhaps the evening snooze-fest when I'm watching telly.
Other than that…
Tell the family I'm off to Dignitas, and then en route to Switzerland stop in Paris… to spend the evening in pleasant conversation with a hooker in an absinthe bar and then, in the early hours, drunkenly stumble into the path of traffic for a fatal tumble with the sanitation truck.
Yeah, that'll do.
Ker-iste… I can't believe I'm actually bothering to write this, much less post the f***er. Oh well, life in the fast lane, etcetera. 🙂
Interlude over, I'll get back to work now and try to sort the mess I've gotten myself into.
