Say what?
(4 minute read.)
I would have said more...

Seriously, though—the solution lies in my role as…
Troubleshooter, not cheerleader.
I find and fix problems, challenge bad ideas and suggest better.
Deliberately looking for flaws and weak points, I explore and investigate (roam). This enables me to diagnose, from which I can provide analysis and strategy.
Tough questions and answers should be expected. I speak plainly, without trying to soften.
The problem is me. I'm not up to the task. That at least is clear, and to not be upfront about it would be self-deception.
As I noted: 'I'll find a solution to my inability'. But right now, I won't even guess what that might be—and that quip of 'divine intervention perhaps' might have to be the solution. Clearly, things require more than a bowl of soup and a lie-down.
Before I forget, in my favour and definitely worth a mention…
The publishing firm I'm building is 'not for me'. It's just something in which I'm involved for a limited period, particularly the initial concept and set-up, after which I'll remain involved in an appropriate role for as long as it makes sense for the business.
So, with the long-term firmly in mind this isn't something to rush. There's no hurry.
And so, to close on a realistic note…
Of course, the fix to many of my issues is to deploy the increasing business-in-a-box capabilities of agentic AI—to decide strategy, create content, automate tasks.
Simple. Done.
But that doesn't sort the very real problem of my altered/damaged psychological/physiological capacity from events in recent years and ongoing.
I am genuinely diminished/weary in a way from which I might not recover. The creative and strategic parts of my brain work fine, it's 'simply' the 'oh hell, I have to run this' issue that I can't currently fix.
Anyway… for now at least, over and out.
Let's close with some—entirely unrelated—music…
