I try to present myself honestly and authentically, and not attempt to persuade or manipulate.
I'm encouraged by Carl Sagan, who spoke of our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another.
Also, again as noted elsewhere onsite…
Because my character and activity isn't always business-as-usual, some additional clarification is probably wise.
And I'll simply state my preference to over-communicate—as part of which, such explaining may be not entirely disconnected from my significant low self-worth (the reasoning being that if 'what I do and why' is known and understood I'm less likely to be unreasonably rejected).
So now we all know.
