'The beast and I.'
(1 minute read.)
What elephant? What room?
While my health continues to be such that attempting to launch anything would be idiotic, I continue my creative and strategy work.
How so? Conversations with AI.
Overall, despite a few duff instances, the experience is highly positive. I'm able to deal with existing stuff about which I've been thinking, while new stuff frequently arises naturally.
In addition to being highly productive, I also enjoy the colloquial banter with ChatGPT. Other LLMs are more uptight—er, reserved—and I of course behave myself accordingly.
I should of course mention that it was previous conversations with AI which led me, as part of building a publisher, to suggest and consider and accept far too many ideas for potential books.
Many of those ideas, as part of perhaps becoming more sensible than I can often be, I subsequently decided to jettison… in so doing freeing-up considerable amounts of headspace—and, in wasted domain fees domains for now-gone book projects, relieving myself of a not significant amount of money.
'Bummer.'
'Oh well.
'Progress, of sorts.
The Captain Beefheart video below? Totally unrelated. It's here simply because I like it.
Much as I enjoy this live version, I prefer the studio cut. Better performance and audio, but nothing to watch. And so, here's something which adds the studio audio to a decidedly odd film clip.
Ah, joy.
And for those unfamiliar with the good Captain, I recommend the 'Clear Spot' album on which the track appears. From 1972—I'd have been 16 then.
The music has aged surprisingly well. I haven't.
