We publish stuff.
'wordshifters' (pretentiously lower-cased) is a trading structure/identity through which I conduct some of my commercial ventures.
wordshifters doesn't currently need a website, and so I've not yet built one.
'wordshifters?'
Yeah… shifters: 'to move; a change or transfer from one place, position, direction, person, etcetera, to another'.
Beginning 2026, we're building a modest-scale publisher…
Digital only.
Text and audio.
Perhaps video when appropriate.
Topics are primarily:
Business advice.
Personal & professional development.
Progressive living and societal issues.
All content is generated in-house.
AI-assisted, human-directed.
It's published as one or more of website/book/podcast/streaming radio channel.
There's some degree of unconventionality in our presentation; often satire and humour too.
As part of this, we've created a variety of team-credited in-house styles, including some fictional characters (with specific personalities and writing styles) as authors.
Why this strategy?
Because it's a relatively novel and engaging way of presenting information. It should attract attention and help build and maintain an audience. It's an edge.
Gosh! It all sounds rather sensible. A bit boring, too. Oh well.
The financial side of things?
Oh yes, all thought about too. The usual methods by which one extracts money from such activity. This most definitely isn't a hobby with delusions of grandeur.
