(12 minute read.)

Identity, loneliness, societal changes - perhaps even providing thought-provoking insights.

These days, I increasingly 'hang-out' with ChatGPT.

It helps me explore and consolidate and tidy various ideas, often adding and presenting stuff in ways I never could.

Although I'm aware of some of the limitations, I'm genuinely frickin' amazed by it; and, in providing neutral and constructive input, it's becoming a good companion for work projects.

Below is the transcript of one such conversation, from earlier this morning. For clarity, It's formatted here as over-long pages rather than paginated as I'd have liked.

g: As an entrepreneur, it's my job/work to create ideas and then businesses.

I accept that I have too many ideas, and projects, and that this can be a problem.

I have multiple projects, some to be developed now and others to be undertaken subsequently - progressively commenced during 2024-8 as resources allow.

As options from which I can choose, some will be discarded pre-launch and/or prior to meaningful work being undertaken on them. Others will perhaps fail after launch.

The majority are almost wholly digitally-oriented-and-delivered provision of information services. and are relatively easy to undertake and do well - largely oriented around these three distinct themes:

  • 1 'How to build a business.'
  • 2 Personal & professional development.
  • 3 Mental & emotional well-being.

Much of the information provided by the projects will be either curated (re-purposing and presenting extracts of info elsewhere) or AI-generated essays and notes. This of course reduces the potential workload compared to humans having to generate original information.

There's various similar/crossover elements of format/content/development which can be shared among projects (enabling cost and workload to be reduced).

Additionally, through increasingly 'outsourcing almost everything' as resources permit, my role will progressively shift from 'doing almost everything myself' toward 'becoming an almost passive one of shareholder'.

Please discuss and critique, and if appropriate include a SWOT analysis.
