'But wait, there's more…'

I might even pivot and do two variants: one a normal non-fiction, and the other in story format as a first-person narrative of someone and their conversations/interaction with (and reflections of) an appropriate mentor.

Maybe I'll title it 'The Way of Business' or something suitably pretentious…

Prologue

It wasn't my first failure, but it was the one that stung the most. I had poured everything into my business—late nights, early mornings, countless calls, and meetings. I was determined to make it work, convinced that if I just pushed harder, success would finally come. But instead, the harder I pushed, the more things seemed to fall apart.

I had forgotten the lessons, the simple truths that had been shared with me years before by the man I now call The Wise Mentor.

Sitting there, staring at the dwindling numbers and feeling the weight of my own frustration, I realized something needed to change. It wasn't the business models, the products and services, or even the people—it was me. Somewhere along the way, I had lost sight of what really mattered.

That's when I reached out to him again—The Wise Mentor. Not to ask for a magic solution or a quick fix, but to understand what I had missed, what I had forgotten in my relentless pursuit of success. What followed wasn't a lecture or a list of instructions. It was a journey, a way of being that I had only touched upon before.

He reminded me that 'business is not just about business'. It's about life—the way you approach it, the relationships you build, and the mindset you cultivate. Success doesn't come from force or desperation; it comes from alignment with who you are, how you serve others, and the way you show up every day.

Over the following months, I relearned the path I had once started. I learned to see setbacks not as failures but as opportunities for growth. I rediscovered the importance of authenticity, integrity, and service in every interaction. And most importantly, I learned that true success isn't just measured by results—it's measured by the impact you make on the lives of others.

This book is the culmination of those lessons, the ones I learned as I walked alongside The Wise Mentor. It's not just about building a thriving business———it's about building a life that you can be proud of, one connection at a time.

And it all begins with understanding The Way.
